NEWSPAPER REVIEW:

 This week’s Newspaper came out today!!! It is pretty neat!RECONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN SOON

The reconstruction of the Migrator is well on its way. Some pieces are still missing though, so penguins are still searching the sea floor for pieces.

NEW BOOKS A LITTLE DELAYED

Unfortunately, the new books are somewhat delayed. We will have to wait a little longer.

LURES READY FOR RELEASE

Hurray! The new lures are almost here! They should be in stores (Sport Shop) on February the 29th. (Tomorrow!)

FOREST AND COVE

This week’s featured room (s) is the Forest and the Cove! Go and explore the great outdoors, have fun, and discover what is out there!!! Also be sure to try out the game Catchin’ Waves at the Cove!

ASK AUNT ARCTIC

This week on “Ask Aunt Arctic” we learned where the friendship bracelet is.

Question: Dear Aunt Arctic, Where do I get the friendship bracelet? No one will tell me! -Friend Trend

Answer: Go into the Book Room and read the great book called: Rockhopper and the Stowaway. Once you have finished reading it, at the back of the book, you can get the bracelet for free!!!

There was also a question of feeding puffles, and why they sometimes don’t get very hungry. That was also explained by how much a penguin visits the island.

TIPS AND SECRETS

This week’s newspaper covered information about the Dojo. It is quite secret, hidden in the Mountains. There are two ways to get there. One by clicking on a spot in the Mountains on your map, and the other way is via the Spy HQ.

Maz: I think the Featured Foom and the Tips/Secrets pages are turning out to be pointless now. Almost everyone knows the secrets.

NEW CATALOGUE

Snow and Sports February 2008

Not a bad cover, I kind of like it.

And here are the red and blue soccer uniforms. I like them, they are pretty cool!

On this page we have the Hockey Helmet, Hockey Stick and the Tennis Racket.

Also, click the Tennis Racket to buy the secret Orange Football Helmet.

Awesome! The new fishing rod is out! It lets you catch the grey coloured fish in the game “Ice Fishing”.

 

The grey fish are cool. They act more like real fish. When they see the line, they sort of go cautious, and then sort of lunge to grab the bait.

This is the new furniture. I think they are great, though the mats and balls are a little underpriced. And the treadmill is overpriced, in my opinion.

These are the backgrounds. Cool sportsy backgrounds are awsome!!!

NEW PIN

The new pin is the Aqua Grabber pin. It is underground at the pool.

NEW FURNITURE CATALOGUE

Note: I didn’t have much time, so I just did the new stuff and secrets.

This is the cover. Personally, it’s not my style, it’s obviously for girls. (And if your a girl, then enjoy!;))

Here is the first page of new stuff. I bought the Clam thing and a couple of Shell Chairs for my house, and they are not bad.

Here is the second page, with chairs and posters mainly. I bought a poster, it is big.

Sorry, I don’t even have time to do the secrets. :s

Furniture Catalogue – March 08

Hi There!

The new furniture catalogue is reasonable. Not the worst I’ve seen, but certainly not the best. Here is a list of the pages, and summaries of each one.

Aquatic Accents

Not too bad a page if you are a girl, but unfortunately a boy may find most of the items a little too girly for their liking. The only item I bought from all 3 pages of underwater items was the seaweed.

Stage Characters

This is more like it. Three good posters, each for a very reasonable price. However, they are a little too big. I would have liked them even more if they were slightly smaller.

Unnamed Page

Several good items, especially the snowman and poster, although what were Club Penguin thinking, bringing out a fan in the middle of winter?

Unnamed Page #2

I hate unnamed pages…I like this page though, the CD Rack, Coat Rack and Area Rugs have always been some of my favourite items. My favourite page in the catalogue.

Unnamed Page #3 (Music)

Another good page, I am a musical person in real life, so I have everyone of these items, let me tell you now they are all worth buying. Click on the Upright Piano to unlock the Pipe Organ.

Unnamed Page #4 (Fiesta)

Three average items, I like the rug quite a lot, but it has always bugged me how the Piñata does not hang from the ceiling.

Castle Furniture

Average. I like the throne, but I haven’t bought either of the other two items.

For your kitchen

Pretty good items. I have all the items on this page, apart from the pantry.

Electronics

Good page, although I wish I could afford more of the items on the page. The jukebox is my old favourite. Click on the Home Stereo to unlock the Concert Lights (which are an extortionate 1650 coins!).

Unnamed Page #5

Average page. I like the Grandfather Clock and the Shoe Rack, and that’s about it.

Clearance Pages

The first page of the clearance is excellent; I have bought and liked all the items on that page. The second page, however, has problems. The snow furniture is good, but I am glad that the girly pink furniture is finally leaving.

Favourite Item

My personal favourite item was the Snowman.

Overall, this was an average catalogue. It gets a rating of 3/5 penguins.

New Pin & Catalog Secrets with info about grey fish

As I predicted yesterday, the pin is at the underground pool-

The new catalog came out, on schedule.  The first secret is the Orange Football Helmet-

And the second one is the Silver Surfboard. 

On the Surf Board page of the sports catalog, there is a picture of a penguin holding a Flame Surfboard.  Click on the Surf Board, and it should turn into the Daisy Surf Board. 

When it does, look towards the bottom of the two Surf Board pages.   You will see a clam on the right page, and a starfish on the left.  Click on both of them, and they should turn yellow, and get a bit bigger.  Now look back up at the penguin that was holding the Daisy, and Flame Surfboards.  He is now holding a Silver one.

The Fishing lure to catch grey fish is out!

The grey fish are fast, so they are kinda hard to get.  You have to move your line to where they are swimming, because they won’t just come to you.

He looks kinda mean, doesn’t he?  The grey fish isn’t the only update, though.  The puffle in a snorkel who used to warn us about the crabs and sharks used to be a blue puffle.  Now it is a pink puffle.

She doesn’t exactly look like she likes her new job, does she?  I think the reason they changed the puffle was so that non-members could get an update on the game, too.  That was nice, since CP is usually blowing off the non-members… this is a change.

They also found more pieces of RH’s ship.  They are at the beach.

All new Newspaper and Furniture!

Hey there penguins! I hope you’re having a great time on Clubpenguin! Today, Clubpenguin delivered their new newspaper and some new furniture came out last Friday! In this post, I will explain everything about them!

Ok, so the new furniture is pretty basic. You have some new “inflatable” items to choose from, and some pretty sweet new “underwater” themed items, as well as some from the past in our Water Party! Here is an “overview picture” about the items:

Along with the new underwater theme, we have the play theme, which comes out every month! How cool is that, honestly? Good job Clubpenguin!

New Pin

The new pin is going to be at the underground pool tomorrow, for all of you pin hunters out there!  It will be located right next to the lifeguard seat in the underground pool.  If you do not know how to got to the underground pool, then keep reading. 

Pull out your map.  Look at where the cove is located on your map (don’t click on it) and look a little bit to the upper left of it.  There is a big lump of snow, and a box that looks like it’s covered in snow.  Click on that.  Go inside of the door of the “box covered in snow”.  It will take you to the cave.  there is a tunnel on the left side of the cave.  Walk in that tunnel.  Then you are in the underground pool.  You can also walk into the left speaker in the night club, and walk through the door of the boiler room to get there.  I would have made a picture to help lead you guys to the underground pool, but I am at a library computer, so I can’t.

FACT- The last time there was a pin located in the underground pool was at the Halloween Party.  It was a spider-pin that would climb down on a web, and it was very difficult for some penguins to catch!

New newspaper and new furniture(again)

Today the new news paper came out.

Rockhoppers ship has been recovered is being repeared.

Asyou may know the new sports catalog comes out tommorow. I feel it is going to be fishing gear. Now you will be able buy a lure that allows you catch the silver fish which is probably a lot of coins.

The hew books that were supposed to come out on march 3rd have been delayed because of an issue will animated pictures in the books.

Here is the newlist the newjokes and the new comic in the newspaper.

The new furniture catalog cam out last week.  I rate it 3/10. It really isn’t that good.

There was the new flooring which I thought were the best parts. The cherry hardwood is pretty cool.

This is the part I did not like. The items aren’t that good and the stage this month wasn’t that good so the n ew stage posters weren’t that good either.

And as always the hidden items you probably already know.
